Near-Zero-Index Materials Near-zero-index (NZI) materials show great promise for photonic devices by enabling new ways to control light–matter interactions. However, reproducibility and mass production of these have proven difficult. In article number 2200109, Jeremy N. Munday co-workers describe how high-quality NZI can be obtained from commercial sources used in novel fundamental photonics.
